Ever played a LEGO game? They’ve all been kind of the same, with the earliest point I remember being LEGO The Movie. From this point, LEGO had a palette that TT Games used to wrap another franchise around. Well, this LEGO game contains all six Jurassic movies.
But first, what is that thing I called the "LEGO Palette"? Basically, it is a set of features that appears in every LEGO game, such as 100+ characters to unlock. Said characters have sets of abilities that you use to progress through a level and to collect secrets such as kits and red bricks. Vehicles or mounts are the same as characters—they are unlocked for faster travel. Custom-made characters let you build your own LEGO man with abilities of your choice. LEGO women jump higher than LEGO men. Obstacles include shiny silver metal that you need to blow up, shiny gold metal that you need to melt or cut into a certain figure, and hooks that you attach ropes to. A certain amount of LEGO studs needs to be collected to get "True" status and earn another Gold Brick.
Is it bad? Not really. Is it getting repetitive? Yes, since there are a lot of LEGO games. But it didn’t get in my way of re-enjoying the first three movies and sitting through the later three. I enjoyed it so much I beat it—no, 100%'ed it—two times, each completion taking around 25+ hours. Plus, I loved seeing how LEGO avoids gore scenes with silly jokes. On top of that, the original OST is there, including quotes straight out of the movies with the same VHS quality. There are so many collectibles, side tasks, races, and interactive objects you won’t get bored with this game for long. And the world map is good too, but I think there is a mistake in it. Because Jurassic Park was on one island, and World is supposed to be on the same island, but on the world map they are on separate islands—correct me if I’m wrong. Anyway, great game—definitely play it!

Plastic looks good and shiny.
JP's original soundtrack is one of the best in movie OSTs imo.
It's nearly the same in every LEGO game with some differences. Here and there.
