Seven: Enhanced Edition or previously known as Seven: The Days Long Gone takes us to a post apocalyptic world that combines role, stealth and open world. Its narrative relates a time when mankind has managed to survive a war against other beings, but this conflict has devastated civilization as we know it. The developers Fool's Theory are a team made up of veterans who have worked on The Witcher and Kholat, So will this game live up to those titles?

So, what is the story about?
The plot revolves around Toriel, a thief with high reputation, who is caught in a trap and sent to Peh, an island for prisoners and merchants. But this was also planned as you are now involved in a conspiracy and with the help of an unexpected ally you will discover more about this world and its emperor.

In addition to our goal, we can explore the island and find secrets, upgrades and other quests, as simple as errands and hunts or as important as the goal, as they can influence the final decision of our protagonists, our actions can alter the world physically and narratively. Also the enhanced edition adds a new set of quests and an area to explore, increasing the length of our adventure.

So, how is it gameplay wise?
The game is focused in our stealth ability, so we have a variety of equipment to survive, such as Toriel's mechanical eye, which allows us to see on a larger scale and find secrets. But there is combat as well and we count with traps, darts, grenades and chips (which contain skills that we learn throughout the game) to ease the combat, but there is a problem and that is that the interface feels outdated, slots are so limited and to use all skills you need to change chips from the inventory, and when you do your slots reset, making it tedious to use all you get in the adventure.

Another mechanic we use is hacking, in which we hack into certain networks to progress or solve secrets. They are not difficult and some require reflexes more than thinking.
Lastly you will find lots of junk, these are used for crafting, there is a process to convert them into use but the limited amount to load on our character makes it a problem, luckily you can find crafting stalls in several places, but the game doesn't explain much about this mechanic.

So, is it a recommended game?
I would say yes, Seven: Enhanced Edition it's a good game with some flaws, but these are not in-game mostly, if you like stealth with an interesting background try it, will take you 45 hours to complete.
