Contrast is a puzzle game with an unusual idea (at the time), moving between a fantastic 3D world and a mysterious shadowy universe in 2D in the blink of an eye. Playing as Dawn, the imaginary friend of a young girl, we will make our way with this key element to help her

About story and settings
The story revolves around Didi a young girl from a broken family, who seeks to save her parents relationship, but she is not alone as she has her imaginary friend (us) to help her in this task. What secrets we will unveil? What identities will be revealed?
The scenery is reminiscent of the Noir atmosphere of the 20-30's, the streets, the music and the mafias are involved in Didi's life.

About Mechanics and gameplay
Altough the adventure is about Didi, we only play as Dawn and as her imaginary friend we should help her on her journey.
As the main focus of the game, we can alternate between physical form or a shadow, where we can use the shadows of other objects to climb places we could not, sometimes allowing us to move the light to change the shadows shape and place.
With this, most part of the game is solving puzzles (which are not so difficult) and some platforming but jumping between worlds may feel awkward at times, making it a bit annoying.

Is it Worthwhile?
If you like the noir style, their music and settings, you may want to try it, the game isn't anyhow long but is an enjoyable experience with a serious story that is portrayed through children's eyes, it will take you 4 hours to complete.
