Gameplay – 7.5/10
Pure Farming 2018 makes a beautiful effort to bring out its individuality by having locations that fans of this virtual farming world expect-from the USA, Japan, and Colombia to Italy-with their-diverse crops and techniques from around the world. All of the following modes are available in it: career, challenge, and sandbox so players can select the whole journey of farming.
The core mechanics including plowing, sowing, harvesting, animal husbandry, and selling crops do well but sometimes lack depth. Although vehicles and equipment have been true-to-life models, the physics feel tight, while some mechanics don’t have the same polish or develop like Farming Simulator.
Because most of the things happen under a very static world-the absence of dynamic AI or changing environment-tend to make long spell feel monotonous. Fresh at the beginning is a diverse range of crops and international locations.

Graphics & Art Style – 7/10
The game is decent but doesn't reach the realism factor set by other farming simulations. While vehicles and farming instruments are detailed, environments could look lifeless and meh; old felt when it comes to the textures and ambient light and weather effects.
With the cherry blossoms in Japan and coffee plantations in Colombia, different locations at least provide some variety to the scenery, but lack of environmental interaction and detail makes the game less immersive.

Sound & Music – 6.5/10
The sound design is functional but not particularly engaging. Vehicle sounds are passable but lack depth, and the environment feels too quiet and static. Background music is minimal and forgettable, making long farming sessions feel somewhat dull.
More immersive audio cues, such as dynamic weather effects, animal sounds, and detailed machinery noises, would have improved the atmosphere.

Realism & Farming Experience – 7.5/10
Although Pure Farming 2018 strives for authentic farming simulation, it feels as if there are aspects where it falls short from realism. It provides real agricultural machinery and crops but does not have the same depth when it comes to the actual management of farms compared with other simulation games.
Economy balancing, soil conditions, and machinery physics do not feel as polished as in some competing games. In a nutshell, this makes it welcoming and easier for casual farming sim players, as it opens up to a larger audience willing to experience it.

Replayability – 7/10
The different locations and crops provide variety, but the game lacks long-term progression incentives. Once you’ve experienced each farm and completed a few objectives, there’s not much to keep you engaged unless you love the farming grind.
The lack of mod support (compared to Farming Simulator) hurts replayability, as there are fewer customization options to extend the game’s lifespan.

Final Verdict – 7/10
Pure Farming 2018 is a respectable farming simulator, showing rich diversity in global locations and wide variety of crops. Unfortunately, it does not have the same level of polish and depth as leading titles in the genre, like Farming Simulator. The equipment variety and farming mechanics are all quite good, but the lack of an environment, repetitive gameplay loop, and uninspired sound design holds it back.
For the very casual fan of farming simulators, a solid entertainment is offered. For serious simulation aficionados, it might seem way too simple and basic.
