Super Trench Attack. It’s a twin stick shooter in a World War 1 entourage. You are some nameless soldier in the ranks of Green Star Army who just arrives on location called Pebbles Beach. Where inch by inch you need to take back occupied territory back from your enemies: The Black Army.
It’s easy to learn and play, it’s real good for relaxing. Also it’s very humorous full of cartoony violence and slapstick jokes. So you start by going into HQ tent where you meet your commander, the redhead Betsy, she sends you to the boot camp where you receive your government-issued revolver, rifle and knife (and a little bit after grenades and med kits). In the boot camp you learn how to shot, head shot and feet shot. Head shot for big damage, feet shot for shielded enemies and to slow down enemies in general. Reload either by pressing “R” or LMB. Throw grenades with “E”. Use med kits with “H” by clicking on your inventory screen in the lower right corner of your UI. To swing your knife press space button. Also do not forget ammo and grenades are limited, but don’t worry too much about it. You’ll find plenty of ammo from crates scattered around or dropped from enemies.
Missions will gradually get harder but never too hard. You’ll also find a war buddy that will go through this war with supporting you in the top down section of the game. There are also shooting gallery type stages where you either fight bosses or need to shoot a certain amount of enemies. There are also hidden chests and collectible items. If you are low on money and you want to buy a new gun you can also try gambling in your camp by playing Blackjack just don’t expected to win, the dealer is a cheating sob.
So it’s good, definitely worth a playthrough plus it’s cheap. Don’t skip out on this one, skip on the Super Trench Attack 2 it’s nothing like first one. Good luck, soldier.
