LEGO Batman the first game. I’m not big fan of caped crusader mainly because shortage of comics in my Country. As far as I remember I only ever had 1 Justice League comic that I read so much it fell apart. Anyway LEGO has its own palette with LEGO Batman. Like for example LEGO Tolkien (Hobbit and Lord of the Rings) had crafting, tools and collectible resources system. LEGO Batman has suits for Batman and Robin that you can switch between. It also has the same collectibles red bricks, bat kits, vehicles, etc. Levels are structured the same way as in any other LEGO game. That means here an area, here is an obstacle, break everything breakable in sight till you see jumping LEGO pieces that you can combine and build the solution for that obstacle. Also there are collectibles most of which you’ll be able to get only during free play and you unlock every character and suit.

Anyway since I’m not big fan of Batman and I’ve only seen 4 movies and 2 animated series. I’m unaware if the plot is from a certain comic issue or movie. Okay 1 episode called Riddler’s Revenge. Edward Nigma (Jim Carrey best role in his career right after Stanley Ipkiss) breaks out Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy, Clayface and Two Face out of prison to rob a bank. Our detective duo chases after them to prevent Riddler’s criminal plan. So this episode has 5 levels for each super villain Riddler got out plus a fifth one for Two Face and Riddler together. We first stop Clayface, after that Mr. Freeze, Ivy and we finally deal with the last two when they already broke in and brought all the gold out.

Honestly it felt kinda short. If it’s only those 3 episodes then I’m disappointed because LEGO Batman 3 had 40 hours of content. I hope I’m wrong because I love LEGO video games, they are great time killers. And of course I recommend it since I’d recommend most LEGO video games.
